I have finally found my CARTER line after 3 years of searching, several dead ends and a stroke of good luck. My Grandfather (Edward Carter) never left any evident of his family and to this day I still can not find his birth registration. This made me all the more interested in find more out about him. After piecing together some obscure research and using local polling books, I have now met some long lost relations and have a better picture of my families past. Persistence does pays off.
